This Act may be cited as the “Federal Advisory Committee Act”.

Short Title of 1997 Amendment

Pub. L. 105–153, § 1, Dec. 17, 1997, 111 Stat. 2689, provided that:

“This Act [enacting section 15 of Pub. L. 92–463, set out in this Appendix, amending section 3 of Pub. L. 92–463, set out in this Appendix, renumbering former section 15 of Pub. L. 92–463, set out in this Appendix, as section 16, and enacting provisions set out as notes under sections 3 and 15 of Pub. L. 92–463, set out in this Appendix] may be cited as the ‘Federal Advisory Committee Act Amendments of 1997’.”
